Rain arrived early Thanksgiving morning, starting well before sunrise and soaking the region through the afternoon until about 4 p.m. The heaviest rain happened during the morning hours, and tapered off by late afternoon.

Rainfall totals approached an inch in some neighborhoods in the Delaware Valley, which is much-needed amid the ongoing drought.
