After Monday’s snowstorm moved out, frigid temperatures and gusty winds that feel like the single digits moved in.
Tuesday morning, temperatures were in the low 20s and felt like eight degrees due to wind gusts up to 30 mph.

The cold temperatures led to areas of black ice and the strong winds will cause blowing snow.
The brutal cold will continue through the week into the weekend with highs in the 30s over the next several days.
In addition to the cold and wind, there’s a chance for more snow in the region Friday night into Saturday morning though we don’t have many details yet as far as the specific impact.
Amid the bitter cold, Philadelphia officials declared a Code Blue to expand city services for Philadelphia's most vulnerable population. They also launched a Code Blue Warming Center Initiative which ensures a warming center in every neighborhood in the city to provide relief for the homeless during a Code Blue or Snow Emergency declaration.
Officials also added 125 beds to shelters across the city.
