Nicer Sunday Will Give Region Time to Dry Out

Days ahead to dry out after heavy rains Saturday

The heavy rains Saturday are out of the region and there will be days of dry weather ahead.

Following a rainy Saturday, Sunday brought cooler temperatures and dry weather to the region. A few icy patches were possible Sunday morning across portions of South Jersey and the PA Suburbs. Those concerns have lifted over the morning, as temperatures started to rise above freezing.

Sunday will be another mild day. Highs will rise into the mid to upper 40s. It will be breezy with gusts up to 20-25 mph. Otherwise, just a mix of clouds and sunshine.

Dry days take over the forecast this week. No rain is in the forecast the entire work week. It will be, however, breezy Sunday through Tuesday.

Highs will remain in the low to mid 40s during the week.

The next chance at rain comes on Saturday. Scattered showers may linger into Sunday, too.
