The New Jersey Economic Development Authority released a rendering showing what the proposed Sixers arena could look like if it were to be on Camden’s waterfront. It would be at the former state prison site north of the Ben Franklin Bridge. State officials say the project would bring open space, new housing, restaurants and offices to Camden, New Jersey.

Officials in New Jersey are hoping to convince the Sixers to move across the river to Camden for more than just practice. This comes as complex conversations are already happening to build an arena near Chinatown. Fans are sounding off about the possibilities. NBC10’s Rosemary Connors has the latest.
