Two passengers attacked and stabbed the driver of a vehicle they were in near the intersection of 16th and Tasker streets, early Wednesday, leading the vehicle to slam into parked cars, police claim.

At least one person was hurt and several cars were damaged when a fight between a driver and a passenger of a vehicle got into a fight that turned into a crash in Philadelphia’s Point Breeze neighborhood early Wednesday.

Following a guilty plea for the slaying of LGBT journalist and homelessness activist Josh Kruger, 20-year-old Robert Davis has been sentenced to prison.

On Wednesday, the family of Robert Davis, the man suspected in last year’s slaying of LGBT journalist and activist Josh Kruger, claimed evidence on Kruger’s phone would explain Davis’ alleged actions.

Robert Davis was accused of shooting and killing Josh Kruger, an LGBTQ advocate, journalist and city official. As Davis faces murder charges, his family is speaking out, claiming their son was a victim of Kruger who was acting in self-defense. NBC10’s Karen Hua has the details.
