Dozens of missing persons cases are getting a fresh look within Philly PD. Detectives hope that DNA samples from families will help bring closure to some of these decades-old cases. NBC10’s Claudia Vargas shows us which cases are getting a priority look. 

Police in Montgomery County said a woman they have been searching for since Monday has been found dead. 84-year-old Nadine Beech walked out of the Waverly Heights care facility and couldn’t be found which launched a large-scale search. NBC10’s Karen Hua has more.

Ausar Scott-Thomas and his friend Quadir Diaz went missing on March 7, 2024. Now, while Quadir is still missing, Scott-Thomas’ body was found in the Schuylkill River. He was pronounced dead. NBC10’s Johnny Archer sat down with his grieving parents as they prepare to bury their son.
