A young man was shot and killed in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood Monday night.

While data shows that gun violence has decreased in Philadelphia this year, many residents throughout the city say they don’t feel any safer. NBC10’s Fred Shropshire shows us how the city’s gun violence is impacting the youth.

Kemo Vaughn from Upper Darby and Tahira Wynn from Monroe County were shot several times while sitting in a car, according to police. 

A teenage boy and a family member were shot while walking through a South Philadelphia shopping center parking lot after a Christmas dinner, police said.
