A giant crane was used to install large F, D, and R letters at the park’s entrance located at the intersection of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue in South Philadelphia.

A major makeover of FDR Park in South Philadelphia is moving forward despite a lawsuit that had initially put the plan on pause. However residents in the area are still vowing to keep fighting. NBC10’s Miguel Martinez-Valle has the story.

It was an emotional day as loved ones and community members joined together in FDR Park to place a ghost bike memorial for a man who was killed during an attempted hit-and-run. NBC10’s Karen Hua reports.
