It’s been almost a year to the day since convicted killer Danilo Cavalcante escaped from a Chester County prison. He returned to court to plead guilty to charges in connection to his getaway and the two week manhunt evading police. NBC10’s Tim Furlong has the details.

Danilo Cavalcante, the convicted killer captured last year after two weeks on the run in southeastern Pennsylvania’s rolling farmlands, has pleaded guilty to escape and burglary charges.

Danilo Calvacante, the prisoner who triggered a two-week long manhunt after escaping from the Chester County Prison, is now facing new charges. Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry’s office filed charges for felony burglary, criminal trespassing as well as theft and possession of a fire arm. Calvacante is expected to be arraigned on these new charges on Friday.
