Nine puppies, that were found at Merion, Pennsylvania, park, are going to be available for adoption.

Looking for a lap cat? Meet Diesel, a sweet handsome kitty who is in need of a forever home. He is available for adoption through the Pennsylvania SPCA. 

Pennsylvania SPCA shared that the puppies — only 4-week-old — were found in Merion Gateway Park.

Whoville might not be safe, but one New Jersey animal shelter is ensuring no furry friends are falling victim to the Grinch’s schemes this holiday season by offering discounted dog adoptions.

If you’ve been considering adopting a new furry friend, now may be the time. ACCT Philly desperately needs to find forever homes for several shelter pets due to overcrowding.

ACCT Philly took in 376 animals last week, about 140 of them dogs. Unfortunately, with not enough space the shelter is having to make difficult decisions and decide to put animals down. NBC10’s Frances Wang shares their plea for help from the community.

ACCT Philly executive director Sarah Barnett shares a desperate plea with NBC10’s Brenna Weick to find homes for dogs at the overcrowded shelter. The dogs are up for adoption immediately. ACCT Philly is offering $10 adoption fees for all large dogs and hope to find foster homes as they look to free up space.

The Faithful Friends Animal Society is hoping to find loving homes for older cats and dogs during a national month geared toward showing the need for finding homes for so-called senior pets. NBC10’s Matt DeLucia finds out details.
