Ski resorts across Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains are gearing up for opening day (weather dependent) for the 2024-25 skiing and snowboarding season.

Mikaela Shiffrin suffered a deep puncture wound on the right side of her abdomen and “severe muscle trauma” during a scary crash in a giant slalom race.
