Anyone need a lift home after watching the Philadelphia Eagles hopefully punch their ticket to the Super Bowl?
Online sports betting, bingo, and poker company Unibet has teamed up with SEPTA to offer Eagles fans a free ride home from the NRG Station on the Broad Street Line after Sunday's NFC Championship Game showdown against the San Francisco 49ers.
“SEPTA is thrilled to partner with Unibet to provide free rides home from the NFC Championship Game,” SEPTA CEO and general manager Leslie Richards said. “This is such an exciting time for our city and region, and SEPTA will be ready on Sunday with extra service for fans. We will also have additional personnel on the system to assist riders and to help ensure that their travel is safe, secure, and convenient.”
The free rides run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, SEPTA said in a news release posted to the transit agency's website. Subway passengers will need to pay to get to the game earlier in the day, so be sure to load up your SEPTA Key card.

"This Sports Express service will run every 10 minutes beginning at 11:10 a.m., with trips starting at Fern Rock Station and stopping at Olney, Erie, Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall, and Walnut-Locust Stations before reaching NRG Station. Sports Express supplements regularly scheduled Broad Street Line service."
SEPTA is also making sure people are aware of how to access the Broad Street Line:
Transportation and Transit
"Eagles fans can connect with the Broad Street Line from dozens of bus routes, and there is a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall. The Broad Street Line is also just a short walk from Regional Rail Stations in Center City, and extra Regional Rail service scheduled for the Auto Show this weekend can also accommodate Eagles fans. Additional Regional Rail service will run on the Warminster, West Trenton, Media/Wawa, and Trenton Lines. The Broad Street Line is also easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for fans from South Jersey."
