A crash involving a motorcycle along Interstate 476 in Lansdale blocked several lanes along the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Northeast Extension Tuesday.
At around 5:35 p.m., Pa. State Troopers responded to I-476 southbound at mile marker 25.7 for the report of a motorcyclist laying in the travel lanes, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
When troopers arrived, they found Hector Ruiz, 52, being treated by emergency medical personnel in the right lane and a disabled motorcycle in the center lane, officials said.

Ruiz, of Allentown, Pa., was transported to the hospital for serious injuries, including a head injury, PSP said. His condition is unknown at this time.
Lanes were closed along -476 southbound for several hours following the crash.
