The Picks: Cardinals at Eagles

It’s that time of week. Time to man up and make your pick for this week’s game. Get it right, and you'll be rich enough to form your own Political Action Committee! You'll spend millions of dollars propping up your own, hand-picked puppet candidate to assume office and do your bidding. Then the debates will come and he'll forget all his lines and you'll be left with nothing. Politics is FUN! Here we go:

Peter King: Eagles 37, Cardinals 13. “Bad thing for Arizona: The Cards' biggest scoring threat is a cornerback." I can't disagree with the man.

Ten of Ten ESPN Experts: Eagles. Jaws and Hoge both picked the Eagles. I suppose Hoge is too busy plotting Tim Tebow's demise to bother with his usual Eagles hatred.

Yahoo! Users: Eagles. (no score)

Mike Silver: Eagles. (no score)

Pete Prisco (CBS): Eagles.

AJ Daulerio: Eagles.

Index Card I Threw Up In The Air With The Name Of Each Team On Either Side, Seeing Which Team Would Land Face Up: Eagles. (Card Record: 4-4)

The Wife: Eagles.

Me: I could kick myself for not picking the Bears last week when everyone was picking against them, and now everyone is picking the Eagles again despite their wild inconsistency. Either people still have faith that the Eagles will get their act together (I no longer do), or the Cardinals are just that bad. I dunno. Despite the presence of John Skelton at QB, the Cards can still run the ball, and Patrick Peterson is back there returning punts. I can't bring myself to pick them, but don't be surprised if the Eagles lay another egg. EAGLES 38, CARDINALS 35 (2011 picks: 5-3)
