Nick Foles Signs a Different Deal: To Be Ambassador for Lululemon Menswear

Former Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles has signed as Lululemon’s first NFL ambassador for their menswear line.

Before Nick Foles' big signing news happened Monday, he announced another deal -- and it made history.

Foles, the 2018 Super Bowl MVP and forever-Philly hero, tweeted Monday that he had signed with fitness clothing brand Lululemon to become the brand’s new ambassador for menswear.

He's the first NFL player to be a brand ambassador for Lululemon.

This happened a few hours before reports surfaced that he had signed a deal to become the Jacksonville Jaguars' new QB.

Lululemon started as a "yoga-inspired" apparel retailer for women. The company expanded to menswear in 2016 in an effort to bolster business.

Having Foles as an ambassador could help Lululemon reach more buyers in the athletic menswear market, which is currently dominated by names like Nike and Under Armour.

Foles tweeted about becoming part of #thesweatlife and said that he’s excited for what’s to come.

Foles teased in his announcement for fans to "stay tuned for that other announcement." Then the Jacksonville news broke later that afternoon.

The fitness clothing brand said that they had landed “the most sought-after free agent in football” as their brand ambassador.
