Lane Johnson, Rita's Water Ice raise money for veterans, families of fallen heroes
Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson was named the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year and his commitment to our nation’s heroes is a big reason why. He took that commitment to a new role in the summer. Lane was a server at a Rita’s Water Ice in Lindenwold, New Jersey, where Rita’s matched every dollar raised and donated it to the Travis Manion Foundation, a nonprofit that provides support for veterans and the families of fallen heroes. NBC10’s Sheila Watko has the story.
