NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo dies from brain cancer at the age of 58

The NBA hall of famer Dikembe Mutombo has died after losing his battle to brain cancer. Mutombo was widely known for his excellence on the court but his humanitarian efforts across the globe were an even bigger bright spot. Mutombo played parts of two seasons with the 76ers, including a run to the NBA finals. He was also the NBA’s first global ambassador. Sixers center Joel Embiid spoke about his legacy.
