The PGA Tour's 2016 Constellation Senior Players Championship took over the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Whitemarsh Township this weekend. The event brings some of the best names in golf to Montgomery County.
Championship rounds continue through Sunday, with an award ceremony following the final shot on the 18th green.
Great names in golf are scheduled to attend the event. Bernhard Langer, two-time defending champion, has returned to try to become the tournament's first-ever three-time champion. Other players in attendance include Tom Watson, John Daly, Billy Andrade, Vijay Singh and Colin Montgomerie.
Tickets are available on the PGA Tour's website and golf lovers of all ages are encouraged to come out and enjoy the event.
The event also helps benefit different charities throughout the Philadelphia area. The championship has generated more than $10 million for charity since 1992, according to The PGA.
