The Philadelphia Freedoms will have some additional help — of the four-footed variety — tracking down stray tennis balls during two upcoming matches.
Cal and Teddie from Canine Partners for Life will serve as ball dogs during special halftime exhibition matches at Villanova University Pavilion on July 17 and 20.
Prior to the Freedoms’ World TeamTennis match against the Washington Kastles on July 17, kids in attendance will be given an opportunity to ask representatives of Canine Partners for Life questions about service dogs.
