Republican congresswoman proposes transgender bathroom ban at US Capitol

Republican congresswoman Nancy Mace has proposed a bill to ban transgender individuals from using women’s bathrooms in the Capitol in Washington, D.C. The bill comes just as Delaware congresswoman Sarah McBride is set to begin her tenure as the first transgender member of Congress.
