Fishing for Politician Whisky off the Shores of Eriskay

The Isle of Eriskay is famous for The Whisky Galore and the real life events of the S.S. Politician’s shipwreck. When the ship went aground, it contained thousands of cases of whisky… That is until the townspeople of Eriskay learned of its contents. Upon arriving “1st Look” guest host George Oliphant heads out to the open sea to try and find some of the legendary bounty and to try his hand at fishing, because on the islands, if don’t catch… you don’t eat.
