NJ town celebrates Mayor Vito Perillo turning 100 years old

There was a celebration in the town of Tinton Falls for the man known as the nation’s oldest mayor. Vito Perillo turned 100 years old on Sunday. He made history in 2017 when he announced a mayoral run at the age of 93. Now his life and service are being honored by the community he calls home. NBC New York’s Jen Maxfield reports.
