Emergency responders rescued a man from a motorized glider that got stuck in a tree on Long Island Sunday.
Suffolk County Police responded to a call shortly before 4 p.m. for a man in a glider stuck in a tree about 70 to 100 feet high in a wooded area by Conklin Avenue in Patchogue, authorities said.
The man was rescued and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency services, aviation and patrol officers responded, and NYPD aviation officers assisted in the rescue.
