A 15-year-old pedestrian, struck by a chauffeur-driven limo carrying NBA star and reality TV fixture Lamar Odom in New York, has reportedly died from his injuries.
A funeral took place for the unidentified teen on Monday, the victim’s family confirmed to TMZ.
Odom, who was in town to attend a funeral and shoot a Nike commercial, was traveling through Queens when the accident occurred.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Odom’s driver allegedly hit a motorcyclist who then collided into the boy. After the accident, the boy and the motorcyclist were both admitted to Elmhurst Hospital.
Reports said Odom was attempting to visit a barbershop in his old Jamaica neighborhood at the time of the crash and was sitting in the car's backseat.
Khloe Kardashian, Odom's wife, tweeted "Angels are surrounding me always/ Thank you!!" when she got word that Odom was unharmed. She was not with her husband at the time of the accident.
