Families Prepare for Aleppo Evacuation Day After Cease-Fire Failed
Civilians and fighters are preparing to evacuate from the last opposition-held neighborhood in east Aleppo as part of an agreement between rebels and the Syrian government that will return Syria’s largest city to government control. Footage from “Halab Today TV” showed families gathering in eastern Aleppo on Dec. 14 in the morning and preparing for evacuations to opposition-held areas in northern parts of the country. Footage showed ambulances and buses driving into eastern Aleppo on Dec. 14, toward opposition-held areas as the evacuation was due to get underway.
