We are tracking lots of wet weather throughout the week. This morning there will be lots of steam in the area from last night’s showers.
Isolated rain storms continue Sunday and through much of the work week with high humidity creating steamy conditions.
Expect some lightning and heavy rain Sunday afternoon and evening with isolated storms likely to fizzle after sunset. A new round of storms will likely fire up late Sunday into early Monday morning.
"It might start off dry Sunday, but showers and some thunderstorms will develop, mainly during the afternoon," NBC10 First Alert Weather meteorologist Glenn Schwartz said. "Some will have downpours, with localized flooding possible."
Monday we'll see an even bigger threat of flooding as even more moisture moves into the area. With the wet ground and rivers and creeks already high, it won't take a lot of rain to trigger flooding.
By Wednesday and Thursday the dog days of summer return with high temperatures and humidity.
But these upcoming storms won't be as strong as Saturday's deluge that caused flash flooding on major roadways and local streets.
NBC10 declared a First Alert for the potential of flash flooding in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania suburbs, Berks County and the Lehigh Valley, south Jersey, and northern Delaware for much of Saturday.

Water was standing on I-76 near the Roosevelt Boulevard split, and other traffic cameras showed standing water in Norristown near Route 202.
The bulk of the storms gradually sank southward into Delaware and South Jersey Saturday night before moving offshore.
