‘Way too early to have to go.' Mother mourning after 13-year-old daughter shot, killed

A 13-year-old girl is now the youngest person to die from gun violence this year in the city of Philadelphia. Alaysia Smith was an honor roll student and a cheerleader in the eighth grade. She was visiting friends when she was shot inside a home in North Philadelphia. NBC10’s Leah Uko spoke with her mother and has the latest on the investigation.
