Crews Respond to Water Main Break in University City

Crews are on the scene of a water main break at 33rd and Market streets in Philadelphia.

Crews responded to a water main break in University City.

Officials say water was leaking from a broken main at 33rd and Market streets. Workers shut off the water in the area and 33rd Street is closed off to traffic.

No homes or businesses were affected. 

SEPTA's Route 10 trolleys are on diversion to 40th Street due to the water main break. Passengers may board the Market-Frankford Line for service to and from Center City.
