The three rescuers were also taken to the hospital and are expected to be released at some point on Tuesday.
An AFC Fitness member told NBC10 she believes a gym manager jumped in the water to help.
"He was soaking wet. He had a blanket or something over his shoulders and he just seemed like he just came out of the river," she said. "It's very, I don't know, it's a shock? I don't know. It feels like a movie."
