Two Lower Merion police officers, a Union Fire Company firefighter, and a manager at the gym pulled a 77-year-old woman from the car.

Nabila Jackson, an AFC Fitness member, said she saw the gym manager moments after the rescue.

"He was soaking wet. He had a blanket or something over his shoulders and he just seemed like he just came out of the river," she said. "It's very, I don't know, it's a shock? I don't know. It feels like a movie."

The 77-year-old woman -- who is a member at AFC Fitness -- was taken to Lankenau Hospital where she is currently in critical condition.

The two officers and firefighter were also taken to the hospital and are expected to be released at some point on Tuesday.

Officials have not yet revealed the cause of the initial crash.
