UPenn names new interim president following resignation of Liz Magill

The board of trustees at University of Pennsylvania has named Dr. J Larry Jameson as the new interim president. This comes after Liz McGill resigned as president over the weekend after she made controversial comments on Capitol Hill related to antisemitism on campus. Despite resigning as president, McGill will remain a tenured faculty member at UPenn’s law school.
