A University of Maryland wrestler has been suspended after police say he attacked a woman at her Pennsylvania apartment and tried to carry her away.
Police told the Centre Daily Times that 20-year-old Justin Alexander, of Pittsburgh, approached the woman in the State College building early Saturday and asked her for help with something.
Police said he then assaulted and threatened her and tried to lead or carry her from the building.
Police said the woman wasn't injured and got away when other residents saw what was going on.
The university said Alexander "has been suspended indefinitely for violating the student-athlete code of conduct."
He was arraigned Thursday on charges including unlawful restraint, making terroristic threats and false imprisonment.
His attorney didn't immediately return a call seeking comment Friday.
