Relatives of the two men killed in a plane crash in South Jersey on Monday reflected on the strong bond they all had with each other following their passing, and the legacy the father and brother have on their town. NBC10’s Cydney Long reports.
Two people died in a small airplane crash in a residential New Jersey neighborhood Monday afternoon.
The plane went down on Parvin Mill Road in Upper Deerfield Township around 1:49 p.m., the New Jersey State Police Department said.
NBC10’s SkyForce10 helicopter showed the yellow plane in the front yard of a home. A white sheet covered the front of the aircraft.
NJSP said two adult men had taken off at a small airport nearby when the plane came down.

As investigators worked to figure out what caused the deadly crash, family members arrived at the scene.
A woman in a car shouted "my son, my son," as other women hugged and crouched on the ground near the crash site, NBC10's Karen Hua reported.
Family members of the victims said the two men were relatives.

According to the FAA, the plane was a single-engine Champion Aeronca 7AC.
The crash will be investigated by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
Parvin Mill Road will be closed throughout Monday night, fire officials on the scene said.
