A transgender woman has been charged with stabbing her lover to death before allegedly admitting to the crime over drinks.
Asia Santana -- born Tyrone Crawley -- was charged with murder Friday for allegedly stabbing Eric Nevith multiple times inside his Norristown, Pa. home, police say.
Santana's brother Trarone Crawley told NBC Philadelphia he received a phone call from his sibling asking if they and their mother could go and get a drink.
At a local bar, Santana allegedly admitted to killing Nevins after an argument, Crawley said.
"She told us that she killed her boyfriend. Just like that, she killed her boyfriend," he said.
Crawley said they didn't believe Santana so the three returned to Nevin's home along the 400-block of E. Moore Street in Norristown to see the body.
He immediately called 911. Crawley said the couple had been dating for at least three years.
Norristown Police are still investigating the crime.
