Three teens beat and robbed an 85-year-old man at gunpoint on his own front porch, police said.
Ed Smigielski of Wilmington, De is recovering from the terrifying attack.
Sunday afternoon, he was sitting on his porch when the teens approached him, forced him inside his home at gunpoint, kicked him and demanded money, Smiglieski said.
A neighbor saw the attack and quickly called 911.
Police went to Smiglieski's home and found him sitting against the wall near the doorway while the teens were still ransacking the house.
Police confronted one suspect and there was a brief scuffle, Master Sgt. John O'Connor said.
The two other teens broke an upstairs window, jumped to the ground and started to run away. Police chased them down and arrested them, O'Connor said.
