Surveillance Video Released in Frankford Home Invasion

Philadelphia police are looking for three men captured on a home security camera breaking into a home on Sellers Street in Frankford and then tying up a man inside at gunpoint. The robbers got away with a laptop, gaming system and $200.

Philadelphia detectives hope surveillance video showing two men breaking into a Frankford house last month and held a family at gunpoint will lead to the suspects' identification.

Cameras captured the men scouting out the home along the 1300 block of Sellers Street earlier in the night on September 30.

Then around 3 a.m., police said the suspects return to break into the house. Once inside, police said, the men woke up the homeowners at gunpoint and tied up the 51-year-old husband.

The robbers then stole a television, other electronics and keys before fleeing. The man and his 52-year-old wife were not hurt.

A third man stayed outside the home as the home invasion happened.

The suspects were all wearing black clothing, masks, gloves and had handguns.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police tipline at 215.686.TIPS.
