The casino isn't closing, and there's no change in ownership — it rebranded and transitioned to Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The casino unveiled its new sign on Tuesday, ousting its former SugarHouse brand identity.

The rebranding was a long time coming, as casino ownership wanted a unified brand. Owner and operator Rush Street Gaming also owns Rivers Casino locations in Pittsburgh; Schenectady, New York and Des Plaines, Illinois.
