Son shoots man who attempted to rob his mother at gunpoint inside her home

A would-be robber is facing charges after police say he was shot by a man protecting his mother. The suspect followed a woman from a casino to her home in Abington where he pointed a gun at her and forced his way into the home. The woman screamed and woke up her son who had a legally owned gun and shot the suspect twice.
