Philly Wants to End Shootings One Call at a Time as Part of Anti-Violence Push
Philadelphia has set aside $155 million to make city streets safer from shootings. The 211 hotline is one tool being used as it connects people to programs like after school activities and job training. The Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network (PAAN) is also going door to door to check in on people dealing with gun violence in their communities. NBC10’s Miguel Martinez-Valle reports on the efforts and talks to people about if enough is being done.
