Six Hospitalized After School Bus Ends Up in Creek in Easton

A school bus was partially submerged in the Bushkill Creek in Easton, Northampton County, Monday morning after it crashed. NBC10 is working to gather details about what happened.

Six people were hospitalized after a school bus with students on it ran off the road and ended up in a creek in Easton, Pennsylvania, Monday morning.

A photo shared on social media shows the bus with water up to its windows in Bushkill Creek. As SkyForce10 hovered overhead later, you could see the front of the partially submerged bus was damaged.

About 30 students were on board at the time of the crash, which happened around 8 a.m. Some of those students had injuries, reported NBC10's Steven Fisher.

Emergency officials have not yet revealed the condition of anyone on the bus.

The bus is from a middle school in the Easton Area School District, Fisher reported.
