Ridley Park Borough considering 17% tax hike because of hospital's unpaid share

Residents in Ridley Park Borough will learn more about a plan to raise their taxes by 17% at a public meeting Thursday night. This comes after the borough’s largest hospital, Taylor Hospital, has not paid its taxes all year. The Ridley Park Borough Council says it may not have any other choice but to approve the tax increase to make up for what the hospital has not been paying.
