Wrongfully Convicted Man Shows Support for Philly Prisoner Who Claims He's Innocent
NBC10 has been following the fate of one man who is fighting for his freedom. Willie Veasy has been in prison for murder for almost 27 years. Veasy insists he did’t commit the crime and was bullied during hours of interrogation. Now, Veasy and his family are receiving support from Shaurn Thomas, a local man who was set free after spending 24 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
