R&B legend and Philly native Frankie Beverly dies at the age of 77

Frankie Beverly, a music legend and Philadelphia native, died at the age of 77. Beverly — the lead singer of the soul group Maze — was known for his R&B hits, including “Before I Let Go,” a staple at cookouts, wedding and parties nationwide.
