Power has been restored to PATCO high speed train services, according to Delaware River Port Authority.
Services were suspended around 8:20 this morning leaving passengers on trains traveling between Philadelphia and New Jersey stranded on the tracks.
Riders were evacuated from the trains and N.J. Transit honored PATCO tickets helping passengers finish their commute.
PATCO officials blame the outage on an electrical problem.
"PATCO apologizes to its riders for the inconvenience this outage caused. The source of the outage was due to a series of electrical problems which lengthened the time of recovery," officials explained in a statement.
