A man was shot and killed Tuesday night in Southwest Philadelphia.
Gunmen approached a man sitting on his porch last night and opened fire.
The gunshots rang out around 9:30 p.m. along the 5700 block of Hadfield Street in Southwest Philadelphia.
Brandon Agnew of the 5600 block of Whitby Avenue was shot in the head and died, according to Philadelphia Police.
A short time after the shooting, NBC10.com cameras captured police pouring over evidence including more than one dozen crime markers.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed that multiple suspects approached Agnew as he sat on the porch of a home and then opened fire on the 32-year-old striking him multiple times.
The motive for the shooting wasn’t clear and police didn’t immediately identify any suspects.
