Police continue to search for a Bucks County mom who has been missing for more than two weeks.

During a news conference on Wednesday, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub asked the public for help in finding 55-year-old Elizabeth “Beth” Capaldi of Sellersville.

Capaldi was last seen at her home where she lives with her husband near the intersection of High and E. Church streets back on Oct. 10. She was reported missing by her daughter two days later. Investigators said a few personal items, including her wallet, were also missing from the home. Most of her belongings, including her cell phone, keys and car were left behind however.

Investigators are asking for the public's help in finding Elizabeth “Beth” Capaldi, a 55-year-old Bucks County mom and cancer survivor who has been missing for more than two weeks. NBC10's Deanna Durante has the latest on the investigation.

“She vanished without taking her car keys, her cellphone, her car," Weintraub said. "Which is pretty extraordinary. People just don't vanish off the face of the earth.”

Capaldi worked from home and was not known to travel outside the area alone. She mainly stayed in or around the house, unless running errands or with family members, according to investigators.

“It’s just been my experience that people don’t go missing unless they intend to go missing, there was a horrific accident or there was some terrible foul play," Weintraub said.
