A Philadelphia bicycle officer is recovering after investigators say she struck by a pickup truck in the Kensington section of the city.
The officer was on patrol along the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue around 1:40 p.m., according to investigators. As she was riding her bike, police say she was hit by a pickup truck that was passing by.
The officer injured her lower left leg. She was taken to Aria Frankford Hospital where she is currently in stable condition.
No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate the accident.
