Police, Gunman Battle Just Outside Stopped SEPTA Bus

A SEPTA bus driver stopped a Route 56 bus along Torresdale Avenue after a passenger appeared to be armed. Once off the bus, that passenger got into a gun battle with Philadelphia police, SEPTA said. One officer and the suspect were shot, police later said.
