A person was struck and killed by a car on I-95 in Delaware Saturday night.
The unidentified pedestrian was on I-95 southbound at Delaware Avenue in Wilmington around 9:10 p.m. when he or she was struck by a vehicle.
The victim was later pronounced dead. Police have not yet revealed his or her identity.
Traffic on I-95 southbound is currently being diverted onto exit 7B. Commuters are being asked to find an alternate means of travel around the scene of the crash.
The Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the accident.
