People gathered in Rittenhouse Square to celebrate as the area was free of cars for pedestrians

People were able to walk, play and sit freely in the streets of Rittenhouse Square on Sunday for an Open Streets event. This Sunday marked just one of many through the month of September where certain streets in Center City Philadelphia will be free of cars and open to pedestrians to enjoy the last days of summer.
